Why Join Us?

As a member, your entire team stays informed of the latest philanthropic practices and news affecting your work. You gain an advocate and access to expert training, peer networks, grantmaking resources, and much more.

Membership is open to organizations and individuals involved in philanthropy:
foundations, corporations, donor-advised funds, government agencies, giving circles, professional philanthropic advisors, trust officers, students of philanthropy, and retired staff and board members of philanthropic organizations. IPA retains final discretion on all matters concerning membership approval.

Amounts are based on total annual philanthropic giving, unless you are a student, government agency, or professional advisor. You can remove expenses related to loan funds, pass-through funds, or capital projects. For members headquartered outside of Indiana, dues are based on philanthropic giving only within Indiana.

Your membership investment is for January through December of each calendar year, with membership renewed at the start of each calendar year. For new members, membership investments are prorated for the first year based on the month joined.

We also offer new members who join in November or December complimentary membership until the end of the current year and your membership will continue through December of the following year.
