Grantmaker Salary, Benefits, & Demographics Reports

Research

October 2023

IPA has released its 2023 Midwest and Indiana Grantmaker Salary, Benefits, and Demographics Reports.

2023 Reports

The 2023 reports provide salary, benefits, and demographics data on full-time paid staff as of Feb. 1, 2023, at foundations based in Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin reported to Council on Foundations (COF). These reports are used to aid in budget planning and personnel practice benchmarking, and contain information presented by foundation type, staff position, and asset size. The Midwest and Indiana reports use data accessed with permission from COF's national Grantmaker Salary and Benefits Report (GSB).

These reports are distributed exclusively to members of IPA and its Midwest PSO partners. Information contained in the report should not be distributed outside of member organizations. Further copying and distribution are prohibited without COF's express written permission.
